Special Events - Live at the Depot

WFWM 91.9 FM, Public Radio from Frostburg State University, in co-operation with the FSU Dept. of Mass Communications and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, will present “Live at the Depot,” a series of live old-time radio shows at the historic Old Depot in Frostburg, MD. The shows will feature 15 minute performances by local roots music bands and musicians. Chuck Dicken, WFWM Station Director, will serve as emcee.

The performances will be recorded by WFWM for broadcast on the station at a later date. The FSU Mass Communications department will also be videotaping each show for use on TV3. “Live At The Depot” will take place on each Friday in September between 12:30-2 pm, while the Scenic Railroad’s train is at the Depot. Train passengers and the general public were invited to attend the recordings for free.

The “Live at the Depot” shows are supported in part by the Allegany Arts Council and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
